Hey everyone!
I recently finished my B.A. in Accounting, and I am thinking of becoming an Accounting Lecturer in the near future. I originally started as a Tax Associate but didn’t like it that much because of the hours. However, I will go back into the profession and get the experience I need in order get a teaching position at universities or community colleges. My questions are:
1. I know a PhD is not necessary, but will it be A LOT more difficult to find an accounting lecturer position if I dont have one but rather just a Master or MBA?
2. Also, how many years of experience should I get? I am trying to work in Tax the LEAST possible time.
3. What is the average salary of an Accounting Lecturer?
Thanks in advance!
